Please join us for United in the Eucharistic Procession
Speaker and leader: Most Reverend Andrew Cozzens, Bishop of Crookston, Minnesota
Date: Saturday July 22, 2023, by 3:00PM
Every five years the African National Eucharistic Congress brings together African Catholics in the United States to celebrate the living presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, and share our faith and rich heritage, as we help grow our Church.
This Eucharistic Congress is a time for us to come together as African Catholics around the most extraordinary gift Jesus gave us — the gift of Himself in the Eucharist.
"Through the testimony of lives transformed by God's love, we best proclaim the Kingdom's promise of reconciliation, justice and unity for the human family. Our example can open hearts to the grace of the Holy Spirit, who leads them to Christ the Savior." — Pope Francis
“From the Eucharist comes strength to live the Christian life and zeal to share that life with others.” — Pope John Paul II
“In the Eucharist, the Son of God comes to meet us and desires to become one with us; eucharistic adoration is simply the natural consequence of the eucharistic celebration, which is itself the Church's supreme act of adoration.” — Pope Benedict XVI
